The bpt YC/251 handset is compatible with nearly all common intercom-systems (see a comprehensive list below).

This internal unit is equipped with two buttons (door-opener and special-functions-button). In addition, two potentiometers can be calibrated during the installation (potentiometer 1: sound volume, potentiometer 2 : microphone volume). The special-functions-button can be used  for many purposes (e.g. as a light switch in combination with a relay). The door-opener can be used without picking up the handset. 

The handset comes with an integrated buzzer which can be used instead of your present doorbell (weak current).

A wiring plan with the help of which you are able to install the handset by yourself in no time is included in the scope of delivery.
